Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. If you need to exchange it for any other reason, please follow the return instructions above and place a new order for the preferred item.

Please attach images of the product issues or your refund will not be approved. If the item packaging is damaged upon arrival, please include images of the package damage.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

Our policy lasts 15 days from date of delivery. If 15 days have gone by since your order shows as delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from the original payment total. 

Our return policy lasts 15 days from the date the order is received by the customer. If 15 days have gone by since your order was delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We only process refunds for defective or damaged items. We do not offer refunds for sizing issues so please ensure you check the size chart for each item you order.  

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

There are a few factors that can effect how long it takes for your refund to show up in your bank account. Most of the time it's an issue with the refund time frame in which your bank processes refunded transactions back into your account. Don't panic! We assure you, we will process your refund on our end as soon as it's received and approved.

Here's what you can do to check the status:

First check your bank account again as the refund may show as pending when it is still being processed through your bank.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted and this time can vary per banking institute. They should be able to inform you if the refund has been received on their end and how long until it will be posted to your account.

At Black Rainbow Apparel, we strive to keep our prices low for the more budget conscious goth so our shipping times are extended due to most of our manufacturers being overseas but we aim to get every single order delivered as soon as possible and will make every effort to do so. At this time, we are unable to offer expedited shipping.

After your order is shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you after your order has shipped out.

If you have not received a tracking number after the shipping timeframe has passed, don't worry, your order has likely still shipped but did not have an automated tracking number updated in our system because not all of our manufacturers have this capability. We can, however, request the tracking information from them manually. Feel free to email us with your order number at info@blackrainbowapparel.com with the subject line TRACKING REQUEST and we will get back to you with your tracking information as soon as we receive it.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

  • Processing Time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging. All orders are sent to the manufacturer for dispatch within 24 hours after the order is placed. The manufacturer will then process the order, which may take an additional 2–7 days.
  • Shipping Time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. US orders are shipped by e-packet, which is a US Postal Service product. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 7 to 30 business days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time due to unforeseen events or customs related delays. International delivery usually takes about 20–40 business days.
